My writing lv3 reflection

Writing is to say and express myself not as a speech but as a words about what I think and what I feel. It can be very difficult thing to someone or very easy thing to the other one. Writing's been the most difficult subject for me, and I used to be nervous and blank before I start writing. I've studied writing skill with my five friends, in same class, by Ms.Aida, very nice to us.

What I've learned are some essay and grammar skill which can be used wrong easily. I've learned compare and contrast essay and persuasive essay which has to be very strong enough to convince and persuade the readers. I prefer compare and contrast essay due to the advance, easier to write than persuasive essay. At first, my essay hadn't had a proper instruction and messed up with many ideas. However, as time goes by, I've getting known the way of writing essay, and got more confidence with my writing.

During this six months, I haven't improved only writing and grammar skills but also my confidence. It was a really nice and friendly class even it was very very small class. The teacher, Ms Aida, has been always nice and helpful to us and try to help us to express ourselves much well. I really want to say thank everyone.

As teenagers, education is the destiny we can't avoid. But even when we become adults, we'll be supported to get education everywhere, especially in our jobs. So, Learning is a process that happens throughout our lives. The way of being educated is also important. There are two ways of education, these are is school or outside the school. Getting education in school can have many advantages. However I strongly believe that education outside the school is more useful and very effective. In this essay, I'll state that we get the most useful education from adults, parents and friends.

It is a fact that parents can be the most useful way of education as they are the closest poeople to us in the world, and the people who love us the most. Therefore, they have a big impact on us. Prents dare to give us adviece, and do their best to support and help us. Furthermore, they give us rules and tools for us to try to keep and use as we are their children. We get advice from the about life; every trivial things such as how relationships work, love, and friendship. With this, we think once more before we act and/or behave, and this makes us more aware and attentive, so we do not make mistakes.

Secondly, the next best way of education is friends. We don't really tell a secret to parents, and ask for advice. On the other hand, we talk everything with friends that we even can't talk with parents. What I mean is that because we know parents would be mad at us if they know that we did something wrong. Also as we share the problem together, we can get advice from us. We talk every trivial things together such as the problem about relationship or love.

My mom and I

A mother is the closest person a human being has. We would not be here if our moms hadn't been there. Being very close to someone doesn't mean that we are exactly same or think the same way. Not having differences with anyone is difficult as each person is totally different. Even when we are very close to someone, there are many differences between us, even with our mom. Do you also have differences with her? The purpose of this essay is to compare and contrast my mom and I. I'm going to focus on similarities such as our hobbies and favorite food, and differences such as personality and our looks.

As compare both my mom and me, I noticed many similarities, that is our hobbies and favorite food. We enjoy watching movies and going shopping during holidays. For instance, until we came to Singapore, we used to go watch movies on the weekends. Due to our hobby is same, we could enjoy our holidays together and make it much funnier. However, now it is not possible as my mom's English is a bit poor, so we decided to watch movie in home with Korean subtitles. The another main similarity is our favorite foods. We both enjoy eating some delicious foods and trying new foods. As our taste is similar, it makes decision easier when we have to choose a restaurant for dinner or make some foods. If our tastes were different, it might be matter to choose restaurant or cook something, and if we didn't accept other person's suggestion, we might be in a trouble.

On the other hand, there are also many differences between my mom and me as everyone has differences with each other. The main difference between us is our name.Of course, our name is different, but in addition the difference between our name, the meaning of our name is completely different. While the meaning of my mom's name is beautiful and very valuable thing, mine is intelligent and very moral. Yet another very important difference between these two of us is our personality. Whereas my mom's behavior is fast, and decide something very fast, my behavior is a bit slower than her, and whenever I have a choice, I always become cautious, and think much.

To sum up, I have many similarities from small things to big things such as favorite foods, and hobbies, and differences such as personality and the meaning of our name. However, even though I have many differences with my mom, we both try to consider each other's opinion. I love my mom so much, and enjoy to play with her.

High-heels and flat shoes.

As time goes by, the trend regarding shoes is increasing rapidly so that there are many kinds or high-heels and flat shoes. These two types of shoes have many similarities and differences. If you had the chance to buy shoes, which shoes would you buy? The purpose of this essay is to compare and contrast high-heels and flat shoes. I'm going to focus on similarities such as fashion and protection, and differences such as how trendy people look.

It is a fact that high-heels and flat shoes have lots of similarities. They protect us from the dirt and injuries , and the most important of all , these are part of fashion. If we didn't wear any shoes, our feet would be in danger, they would be very dirty, and they would hurt from the impact of dangerous things on the road such as sharp objects or broken glasses. However, as we wear shoes, we can protect our skin from danger and dirt. But nowadays, the main reason to wear these or those shoes is that we can express ourselves; our taste, our culture, our age and our personality. As we wear shoes, we can look better in our outfits.

Here the main differences between high-heels and flat shoes. If we wear flat shoes, we feel very comfortable and free to move and dance. However, If we wear high-heels, we feel uncomfortable to walk and move; we also feel easily tired. The most notable difference between these two kinds of shoes is our look. When women wear high-heels, they look much sexier and taller than wearing flat shoes. As they look better, they feel confident and proud of themselves.

To sum up, high-heels and flat shoes not only have differences but also similarities such as fashion and protection. But, once again, it is up to a personal choice to decide among them. In my personal opinion, wearing high-heels is much better than wearing flat shoes because of the looks. Therefore, I prefer to wear high-heels as I feel prettier and sexier!

Mcdonalds & Burger king

Have you ever been to McDonalds or Burger king? Have you noticed any kind of differences or similarities between them? We believe that there are a few differences and similarities between them as service and quality of the food,etc.

Comparing both, the main similarity that we can think of is that both are fast food restaurants. That means that can food can be ordered faster than other places. For instance, if you go to a regular restaurant it can take up to twenty minutes to get your meal(depending on your choice), but when you order at McDonalds or Burger king, you usually get your meal in no more than five minutes. Another similarity is the menu. As both of them have the same kind of food such as hamburgers, side menus, drinks, and desserts. The final similarity between the two of them is that they offer customers the opportunity to celebrate your birthday using their premises. So, as we have started both McDonalds and Burger king are customer oriented.

On the other hand, there are many differences between McDonalds and Burger king. These differences are service, cost and the food quality. For instance, McDonalds has home delivery, and it also has a play ground where kids can play while adults can enjoy eating and socializing. Burger king's meat is much better, because of it's higher quality. Dealing with price, it is a fact that McDonalds is the cheapest. They offer similar menus for different prices. Perhaps this is due to the quality of the food.

All things considered, the main similarities between McDonalds and Burger king is their menu, kinds of food, and that they offer customers the opportunity to celebrate certain events. On the other hand, the main differences between both restaurants are their service, cost, and the quality of food. In conclusion, although both restaurants offer fast food and space to enjoy with your friends, in our opinion McDonalds will be a better choice.
